This is a pattern for a maxi skirt with a requested cover.
The skirt portion is primarily made of synthetic leather and is crafted with raw edges, without any finishing.
As it is a long length, please take note.
After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.
The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.
The production process is explained with translation software.
(1) Stitch bias tape to the bias tape position in front of the cover skirt.
(2) Serge/overlock the sides of the cover skirt and sew them together, then press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron.
How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)
(3) Stitch bias tape to the edge of the cover skirt.
(4) Serge/overlock the Back center line and apply stay tape to the zipper position.
(5) Sew the Back center line up to the Sewing stop position, press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron.
* If the bias tape on the Back center line hem is too thick to split, fix it by splitting and securing it with hand sewing.
(6) Attach the invisible zip to the cover skirt.
* The instructions are for using synthetic leather, so there is no Serge/overlock step. If using materials other than synthetic leather, Serge/overlock the sides.
(7) Serge/overlock the sides of the skirt pieces.
(8) Sew the sides together and split the seam allowance (S/A) with topstitch.
* Only sew up to the Sewing stop position on one spot for the Back center line, as it's the zipper section.
(9) Stitch the seam allowance (S/A) of the skirt's zipper opening to the pleat of the cover skirt's zipper.
* If it's difficult to stitch with a sewing machine, hand sewing is also acceptable.
(10) Apply fusible interlining to the "belt."
(11) Pre-fold the side part of the "belt" by 1cm and shape it with an iron.
(12) Fold along the center line of the "belt."
* At this time, slightly offset one side to create a folded-in part and press with an iron.
(13) Stitch the sides and turn them inside out.
(14) Stitch while folding and aligning with the skirt from the attachment position.
(15) Sew on Hook & bar eye or buttons.
