This is a pattern for a simple A-line dress with a V-neckline.

It's primarily constructed to be processed on the bias, but it can also serve as a simple and versatile base material for various alterations.

In the reference costume image, a belt is attached, but the pattern includes only the dress portion, without patterns for accessories like belts.

It's also recommended for making tunics or layered dresses.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

* The bias tape used in the reference costume photos on the website is made using a 50mm tape maker.

How to make bias tape

How to sew bias tape

(1) Sew the darts on the "Front bodice" and Iron and fold the seam allowance (S/A) towards the center.

How to sew darts

(2) Serge/overlock the side of the "Front bodice" and the side and Back center line of the "Back bodice".

How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)

(3) Apply stay tape to the zipper position of the "Back bodice".

(4) Sew the Back center line of the "Back bodice" up to the zipper position, and Press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron.

(5) Attach the invisible zipper to the zipper position.

(6) Sew the side of the "Front bodice" to the side of the "Back bodice", and Press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron.

(7) Apply bias tape to the hem.

* Please adjust the hem treatment according to your preference, such as Serge/overlock & folding.

(8) Apply bias tape to the armholes.

* After applying bias tape to the armholes, cut off any excess at the ends.

(9) Apply bias tape to the neckline.

* When applying bias tape to the neckline, align the ends of the "Body" and apply bias tape at that position.
