Apron Dress 2 Sewing Patterns | DRCOS Patterns & How To Make

This is a pattern for a one-piece apron-shaped dress line.

The dress is worn with a button fastening at the back waist and a button at the neck cord.

The neck ribbon and back waist ribbon are made separately and attached with snap buttons.

It can be used as an apron at home, but it must be worn with a skirt underneath.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Apply fusible interlining to each "facing", sew together, press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron, then serge/overlock the outer edge.

How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)

(2) Fold the hem of the decorative bias tape by 1cm and sew on a sewing machine at the attachment position.

(3) Sew the "shoulder strap" into a U-shape, then topstitch both sides when turned inside out.

* If it's difficult to turn inside out, shape it with an iron first and then topstitch around the edges.

(4) Sew the darts on the "Front bodice" and fold the seam allowance (S/A) towards the front side with an iron.

(5) Serge/overlock the sides of the front "Back bodice" and sew together, then press the seam allowances open with an iron.

* For fabrics that are difficult to shape with an iron, use topstitching for darts and seam allowances (S/A).

(6) Serge/overlock the hem and fold it up by 1cm with an iron.

(7) Insert the "shoulder strap" into position while aligning, sew the "facing" to the "Body", and sew the hem.

(8) Make neck ribbons and shoulder ribbons.

(9) Create buttons and buttonholes at the button positions of the "shoulder strap".

(10) Attach sew-on snaps to the positions of the neck and waist ribbons and the positions behind the waist while aligning them with the "shoulder strap".

(11) Refer to the pattern diagram to create bias tape ribbons and attach them to three locations.
