You may not have many chances to use this pattern for cosplay costumes, except when making a casual or everyday-style version.
However, it is very simple to sew, and with small arrangements, it can be made into a cute design, so I highly recommend it as a pattern for everyday clothing.
When making arrangements, the key point is not to change the armhole length of the body and sleeves. As long as this length stays the same, you can change the shape freely and still create a wearable garment.
After printing, align the joining lines, tape the pieces together, and cut them out before use. Seam allowances are already included in the pattern, so it can be used as is.
(1)Sew the side seams of the body and the sleeves with a sewing machine, then serge/overlock the raw edges.
How to Serge / Overlock (using a sewing machine or an overlock machine)
(2)Fold the hem of the body and the hem of the sleeves into thirds, press with an iron, and sew them with a sewing machine.
(3)Attach the sleeves to the body, then serge/overlock the seam allowance.
(4)Wrap bias tape around the neckline and sew it in place with a sewing machine.
*Adding loose elastic inside the bias tape can also create a cute finish.
