This is a sewing pattern for a cloche hat (bell-shaped) with an extended brim designed for UV protection.
The brim has a slightly steeper angle than a standard cloche, making it ideal for spring and sunny days.
For lightweight fabrics, apply fusible interfacing to help maintain the shape. If you want a more defined structure, press open the seam allowances at the top with stitching and trim them for a cleaner finish.
It is recommended to check the brim length at the pattern stage and adjust it to your preference.
After printing, align and paste the pages along the matching lines, then cut along the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can start sewing immediately.
(1) Serge/overlock the side edges, sew them together, and make a loop.
