This is a free sewing pattern for an A-line tank top with a loose fit, designed for layering over other tops. The wide armholes and flared silhouette make it ideal for casual summer outfits, sportswear, or relaxed loungewear.
We recommend using knit or stretch fabrics such as jersey or 2-way stretch material to achieve comfort and flexibility. The simple construction process is beginner-friendly, allowing you to complete the garment quickly and easily.
The neckline and armholes are finished with bias tape, giving a clean and professional look. You can customize the design by adjusting the length or width to suit your style and layering preferences.
After printing, align the joining lines, cut out the pieces, and start sewing. The pattern includes a built-in seam allowance (S/A), so it is ready to use without adding extra margins.
What are “Grainline” and “Cut on fold”? Please refer to this page.
(1) Sew the shoulders and sides of the front and back bodice together, then finish the seam allowances by serging.
