Bloomers Sewing Patterns | DRCOS Patterns & How To Make

This is a pattern for bloomers, a classic design that is now nostalgic.

This is a different shape from the usual pants type, and makes you wonder what kind of shape it is.

Side lines can also be added, so if you need them, please use the side lines.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Attach white bias tape to the side line position.

How to make bias tape

* This step is not necessary for designs without side lines *

(2) Referencing the basting stitch lines on the interfacing, attach the interfacing to the "Front bodice."

(3) Stitch the sides of the "Body" together, serge/overlock, and press flat with an iron.

How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)

(4) Serge/overlock the waist circumference of the "Body" and fold along the folding line with an iron.

* If a 55mm iron folding line is difficult, please mark it for reference with a tailor's tack.*

(5) Stitch around the waist circumference with topstitch, leaving an opening for inserting elastic.

(6) Stitch the inseam of the "Body" together, serge/overlock, and press flat with an iron.

(7) Serge/overlock the circumference of the leg openings of the "Body" and fold along the folding line with an iron.

(8) Stitch around the leg openings with topstitch, leaving an opening for inserting elastic.

(9) Thread elastic through the leg openings, then sew the openings closed.

(10) Thread elastic through the first opening around the waist, then sew the opening closed.

(11) Repeat for the second and third openings, threading elastic through and sewing the openings closed.
